Pancake Stack with Walnuts, Hazelnuts and Peanuts Recipe

For a delicious breakfast treat, fill these fluffy pancakes with three types of crunchy nuts. For a decadent twist, top with whipped cream and extra nuts.

Ingredients

Time Needed

  • Prep Time: 10 minutes
  • Cook Time: 15 minutes
  • Total Time: 25 minutes

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • Whisk together the milk, egg, and melted butter in a separate bowl.
  • Mix the wet and dry ingredients together until just combined.
  • Mix in the walnuts, hazelnuts, and peanuts.
  • Preheat a nonstick skillet over medium heat.
  • Pour 1/4 cup batter onto each pancake pan.
  • Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the surface of the pancake is covered with bubbles and the edges are set.
  • Cook until the other side of the pancake is golden brown, about 1-2 minutes.
  • Rep with the remaining batter.
  • Stack the pancakes and top with whipped cream and additional chopped nuts, if desired.
