Pancakes with Strawberries and White Chocolate Chips Recipe

These breakfast pancakes are sweet and fruity. Fresh strawberries and white chocolate chips are a winning combination.

Ingredients

• 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1/4 cup white chocolate chips
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1 cup all-purpose flour
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
• 1 egg
• 1 cup of milk
• 2 tablespoons sugar

• Prep Time: 10 minutes
• Cook Time: 20 minutes
• Total Time: 30 minutes

Instructions

• Preheat a nonstick skillet or griddle over medium heat.
• Whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a mixing bowl.
• Whisk together the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract in a separate bowl.
• Mix the wet and dry ingredients together until just combined.
• Stir in the strawberries and white chocolate chips.
• Scoop the batter onto the hot griddle or skillet using a 1/4 cup measuring cup.
• Cook until the edges begin to dry and the surface begins to bubble, then flip and cook until the opposite side is lightly browned.
• Serve immediately with extra strawberries and white chocolate chips on top.
