Pancakes with Chocolate and Honey Recipe

For a decadent breakfast treat, these fluffy pancakes are studded with melty chocolate chips and drizzled with sweet honey.

Ingredients

• 1 cup all-purpose flour
• 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
• 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
• 1 cup of milk
• 1/4 cup honey
• 1/4 teaspoon salt

• Prep Time: 10 minutes
• Cook Time: 15 minutes
• Total Time: 25 minutes

Instructions

• Whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
• Whisk together the milk, egg, and melted butter in a separate bowl.
• Stir together the wet and dry ingredients until just combined.
• Incorporate the chocolate chips.
• Over medium heat, heat a nonstick skillet or griddle.
• When the skillet is hot, ladle 1/4 cup batter onto each pancake.
• Cook until the edges of the pan begin to set and the surface becomes bubbly, then flip and cook until golden brown on both sides.
• Drizzle honey on top and serve.
