Instructions

  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the milk, egg, and melted butter.
  • Stir together the wet and dry ingredients until just combined.
  • Over medium heat, heat a large nonstick skillet or griddle.
  • Pour the batter onto the skillet or griddle using a 1/4-cup measure.
  • Cook for 2 minutes, or until bubbles appear on the surface and the edges are set.
  • Cook for 1 minute more on the other side, until golden brown.
  • Repeat with the rest of the batter.
  • Chocolate syrup should be drizzled over the pancakes.
